HELLO / OLA!
I am a Chicago based author, born and raised, daughter of Puerto Rican immigrants. My first novel, CHOOSE ME, was published in 2005. In 2006, I self-published a collection of poems, essays, and short stories entitled, BORICUA MORENA: MEMOIRS OF A HUMBOLDT PARK GIRL. My second novel, IN THE PICTURE I HAVE OF YOU (which is the actually the first novel I wrote), is currently under consideration for publication. In addition, I am editing my second self-published memoir, HUMBOLDT PARK DAYS, my first children's book, due out Summer 2008.
